Memorial Day Weekend

We've been having some fun this weekend: campfires with s'mores in our back yard (burning some unwanted sticks from our yard), bike ride with kids in the bike trailer, church, playing outside in the nice weather and tomorrow a Memorial Day parade. What is better than Kert having a 3-day weekend? - having a 4-day weekend! We're also hoping to make it to the public market tomorrow for their Flower City Days to buy some flowers and vegetables to start working on our gardens. So, we've got some work ahead of us. We hope you are enjoying the holiday!

Baby on the Move

The most interesting news I have of late (other than having had a fun, relaxing trip in AZ) is that I've been feeling the baby move for a few weeks now and Kert has been able to feel her move the last couple weeks. Even with the 3rd I marvel at the sensation and always look forward to her moving more. Ethan has been trying to feel her move but hasn't felt it yet.

Also, I have a log-in at Facebook because I kept getting friend requests. I don't have anything on my page but you can send me friend requests and maybe I'll get Facebook literate in the near future!

We hope you're enjoying the summer-like weather!

Day Out With Thomas

Here's a couple pics from our Day Out With Thomas. It was at the Medina RR Museum. If your kids love Thomas, this event is worth it! Ethan loved the train ride with a "real" Thomas engine, train tables and other play areas they had.

It's a Girl!

We had our 20 week ultrasound and found we are having another girl! We are so excited that Makayla will have a sister to pal around with and Ethan seems excited about having another sister since sisters is all he knows! Both kids came along to the ultrasound and Ethan enjoyed watching the screen while they checked the baby over from head to foot. All looks well so we are praising God for a good report!

Arizona

We're here enjoying sunny, hot AZ. Even though the temps are in the 90's and 100's it doesn't feel that hot because the humidity is low. It might be hard to adjust back to Rochester weather after being in summer weather here! We've been having lots of fun in the pool at the resort, going to the Phoenix Zoo, playgrounds, a train ride, taking a day at Grandma and Grandpa's house (they've been with us at the resort as well), miniature golfing... So, we've been keeping busy! The 3 hour time change was an adjustment for the kids sleep times. We have it worked out for now. We'll update more after we return...
