Frosty the Snowman!

Frosty the Snowman is a song we sing often around here (but not even close to as much as Jesus Loves Me). The kids were so excited to make their own frosty! They check every day to see if he has melted since the temps have been a little milder. They all had to hug frosty too!

Enjoying a Christmas Gift

We bought Ethan and Makayla a large train set (on a really good sale!) to add to their small collection. Ethan asked me today to build one of the samples that came with the set and I said sure thinking about when I'd get to the dishes in the sink. After a couple minutes I tried to come up with a good excuse why I was too busy because I am used to having about 5 pressing things at one time and 10 other things waiting to be done. I thought about it and both girls were sleeping and potentially wouldn't be up for a while. I decided the dishes could wait and I should be a good Mommy. It was well worth it because Ethan was so excited to help and so excited to show Makayla when she woke up. I'm just glad that I took pictures before they demolished it!

Fun in the Sun... I Mean Snow

The kids had fun on their first real trip sledding. Daddy has taken them both on sled rides around the yard but not downhill until today! I thought they might be scared but they loved it! Even Elly went sledding with us (but she just stayed with Mommy)! There's also a picture of Ethan shoveling our driveway - not too bad! I think Daddy has a new helper.
