Ethan's Big Day

Ethan had been waiting all year it seemed for his birthday.  It was especially hard to wait through everyone else's all in the month and 1/2 before his - Makayla's, then Daddy's, then Ellyse's, now finally his!  I could really tell that being 5 was important to him.  He must have felt like he'd arrived.  Here are a few pics of how we celebrated him today.

Ethan's 5th Birthday

We decided it was time for Ethan to have a birthday party with friends and came up with the bowling birthday party! The kids all loved it! Here are pics of them bowling.

I was so excited to make the cake!  It was such a fun and easy idea.  Ethan really liked it but was most excited about the presents - he was too interested in playing with them that he didn't want to eat cake.
